Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas)

NITROUS OXIDE (LAUGHING GAS)

Nitrous oxide, commonly known as laughing gas, is often a regular part of sedation treatments. It is often given to those who do not want full sedation dentistry but still want something to help them relax. It is extremely safe because it is mixed directly with oxygen to provide you with a feeling of euphoria. The nitrous oxide acts quickly, provides a flexible duration and level of sedation, produces little grogginess after treatment and causes no side effects – all while helping to take the edge off a patient’s anxiety.
